IBM Hardware Management Pack for MOM 2005

Noticeably absent from the  vernacular of many administrators (as well as the MOM Management Pack Catalogue) is the IBM Hardware Management Pack 5.10 for MOM 2005. Part of a suite of offerings comprising the "IBM Director Upward Integration Modules", which brings similar functionality to not only MOM 2005, but Openview, Tivoli and SMS as well. It is supported for use with IBM Director Core Services and IBM Director Agent 5.10. The MOM Agent is of course required on the managed system.   We deployed this with a client this week, and found hardware monitoring functionality parallel to that of the Dell and HP management packs with little to no configuration required in MOM beyond import of the .akm.
