Getting more out of WMI in MOM 2005

Brian presented this material at MMS 2006, but here a public version in the Semtember Issue of Technet Magazine titled "Unlocking the Mystery of WMI Events in MOM 2005" . A trip through this should make appropriate use of the WMI Events Provider more accessible to the casual MOM administrator. I would encourage everyone to give it a read.   At the same time, note that he keeps queries very targeted. The flexibiliy of WMI allows one to write some queries that might have a large dataset if one is not careful, and could conceivably have negative performance impact.
