Welcome guest blogger Neale Brown

Neale Brown is talented infrastructure engineer and a long-time friend. We've worked together as senior engineers supporting a large e-commerce environment with all the standard accessories - n-tier web applications, database clusters, web farms. Neale recently accepted a position with our consulting company, and is working on our team delivering MOM 2005 enahancements to suit the service monitoring and reporting needs of our enterprise customers...and of course testing beyond the OM 2007 RC2 scenarios in preparation for the big launch.   Neale has recently been evaluating options for monitoring enterprise virtualization platforms...VMWare ESX 3.0 (VI3) in particular. While this effort is still in progress, I've asked him to share some of impressions thus far from our experience with a few of the ISVs. Look for a few contributions from Neale in the near future.
